Bringing Together Global Training Expertise With High-End Computer Game Development for the German Development and Aid Sector
Kite Rider has teamed up with web-design company, corncutter.design in a new venture to realize a major project for the German Government's development cooperation organization GIZ.
GIZ - the German Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit - approached the partnership after it learnt of the company and its capability to bring a vast knowledge of working and training people in hostile environments together with the state of the art computer simulation design that corncutter.design provides through its games developer department, corncutter.games.
Exciting times lie ahead for the partnership as we begin work on the first project of its kind within this field and work closely with GIZ to bring this interactive training tool to fruition.
The project aims to develop a virtual training game for senior project and programme managers responsible for development work and humanitarian interventions who operate within fragile environments such as Afghanistan and will be implemented with the Peace and Conflict Advisory Unit of GIZ in Kabul.
